Terrier (short coat) : : Female : : Baby : : Medium
Freya is a tiny, absolutely precious, cuddle bug. She is a terrier mix born approx. 11/20/21. One of her favorite things is laying on my chest under my chin, and taking a little nap. She’s a typical puppy and loves to play and run, of course. I think she might be part Border Terrier based on pictures I googled. She’s pretty good at entertaining herself. She likes to wrestle, chase the broom when I sweep, pull her cushion out of her bed or her blanket out of her crate, run and shake her toys, chew soft ‘bones’, bark at things only she can see, chew whatever she can get a hold of, curl up for a nap on the top of the sofa, try to play with my senior dogs without getting bit, and generally just explore everything she can with her mouth, especially my hands. (She’s fast learning to be gentle) She’s a definite pleaser and responds very well to verbal correction. Potty training has been slow. With the low temperatures I’ve only been able to take her outside a few days in the last 12. She’s pretty good with the puppy pads. She sleeps in her crate at night with minimal fuss. I work from home so she’s not had to spend much time alone, and she’s been getting as much attention as she wants for the most part. She’s rather secure for being so young. She can chill by herself (my 2 senior dogs completely ignore her) if I’m busy in another room. She can be a handful with her bursts of puppy energy a few times a day, but it doesn’t last long and she spends a lot of time napping afterwards. Freya has personality-plus! She is an absolute doll and would make any home so much happier just by being her cute little self.
