Josephine is part of the grandparents litter. Her mother is Missy Sue, a 50lb shepherd mix. She was born approx. 11/21/21. She had and raised her puppies in a den made a frozen wood. When rescuers gather them up a male dog was sticking close by to make sure the entire family made it to safety. He followed rescuers around and even race after their car. They ended up turning around for him too. We aren’t sure if you biologically the father but have claimed him as the father anyway because he acted as a good father would! If you would like to look him up his name is Sii Hoska. Ernest and Josephine were taken by a family before the rescuers could lure all the family out. They were kept outside in a kennel run with only a cardboard box for shelter. They arrived a week later.

Josephine is warming up well so far and is incredibly playful. She is fun and enjoys running around and is starting to accept love from humans . She is good with people of all ages. She’s happiest when she is running around an playing tug of war with her foster siblings. She loves playing with other dogs. It really doesn’t matter there size, big or small she fits right in. She is a young puppy therefore is not yet potty trained, kennel trained, house trained, or leash trained. She will be ready to learn all of this from her forever family. We are working on all the training and she is a super smart puppy who is ready to learn. Potty training is going very well so far with only a few accidents here and there and they are always close to the door. 

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Distemper combo vaccines appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, heartworm and flea/tick preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $595.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
