Mariah recently had puppies, but the puppies are in homes and she is ready for her forever home! She is approximately 2 years old and 38 lbs. When she came to us she had just been separated from her puppies and she was really scared. She’s been here 1 week and we are seeing her sweet personality! She has really bonded with my 13 year old daughter and me (mom) but she’s still very afraid of my husband and 15 year old son. She sleeps in the kennel at night, and during the day I work from home so she lays by me. She seems to have a little separation anxiety and got out of the wire kennel. We are going to try a plastic kennel when we leave her. We don’t have any other dogs in our home, but she met my sisters big Great Pyrenees mix and just stayed away from him. She does have a high prey drive and wants to go after squirrels and cats. We don’t have cats, but I think she’s not cat safe. She’s very quiet and will bark outside on walks sometimes at other dogs. We take her on a leash to go potty and she hasn’t had accidents in a few days so she’s getting the potty training thing! She’s really bonded with me, and seems to do better with women.  Her eyes are soo beautiful! She’s a petite little girl and  will make a awesome companion, but may take time to warm up to men!

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX , flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $450.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
