Rita is an adorable lab mix born approx. 9/25/21, with such an
expressive face. She loves people and dogs. Rita rides well in
the car and doesn’t get car-sick. She is already house trained.
She stays in her kennel while her fosters are away and at night
although, she would really like to snuggle by you in bed if you
let her. She goes nicely into her crate if you toss a bone in
with her to keep her busy. Rita enjoys playing with the two
resident dogs and she gets the zoomies out in the yard. She
just loves to run all over the fenced in yard and chase
squirrels. Rita walks nicely on her leash. She is trying so hard
to make friends with the resident cat but she has trouble
understanding that cats don’t like to play as crazy as dogs so if
you have a cat who in not used to dogs that might take a little
time to work on. Rita would do best with kids over 8 years old
because she is still working on her manners and learning not
to bump into people. Rita is a very sweet girl and is a little bit
cautious of new situations but she warms up fast. She is 30
pounds. She is very good at letting us
know when she needs to go out to potty and only had one
accident in the house when she first came because she didn’t
know where the door was. She'd love to meet you! I am sure
you will love her sweet face and sweet personality.
