​Otis is a mastiff believed to be born approximately 11/17/18 and weighing in at a whopping 180 pounds. Overall he is pretty lazy with random bouts of playful energy. He loves his squeaky stuffed toys and will play fetch but only a couple times in a row and then decides that he is done playing. Most of Otis's day consists of napping. He likes to spend time outside but mostly that is because he likes to sun bathe. Otis is house trained, learning to ring the bell to go out. He is not kenneled, having free range of the house and has great house manners (he will usually lay on the couch or bed and wait for us to return home).  Otis is amazing with kids, he is also good with our outdoor cats. He will chase chickens but only because he likes to see them run. In the past, he has not gotten along with dogs that he lived with. While in our care we have been doing very slow introductions with other dogs in very short bursts of time which he has done well with. At this point, we are not sure how he would do living with another dog. Otis walks well on leash, he will occasionally pull but can be corrected. He loves car rides so much that he doesn't like to get out of the car because he wants to keep going! Otis is very stubborn, if he doesn't want to do something, it can be difficult to convince him to do it. He is not easily bribed with treats but he does love a bully stick at night before bedtime! Otis will make a great addition to the right family - could it be yours?

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX , flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $450.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
