Lula is a 4yo terrier mix, who traveled to snowy Minnesota from Mexico.  While her past is unknown, her future certainly is full of love & snuggles.  She is about 30 pounds, with a medium build.  She loves to go on walks, run around the yard & mostly snuggling on your lap!  Lula thinks it's very funny to toss her Kong in or a tennis ball in the air and watch it bounce all around. Lula absolutely loves fetching and returning a ball outside and inside. She also enjoys some peanut butter in her Kong & will slurp on it for quite some time. She also kennels beautifully, with little fuss & sleeps overnight for up to 10 hours! She jumps right in the kennel in the car too, cuz she knows she is going on some kind of adventure.  She is medium energy but does show a bit of a prey drive with squirrels & a box elder bug she cornered in the house.  Mostly, Lula wants to be near her people.  She is not really interested in other dogs, and is reactive initially.  Once she gets comfortable with other dogs, especially non-alpha personalities, she tends to be fine.  She will bark & growl in her kennel when other dogs pass by, but a resident dog that ignores her is the best! She’s incredibly sweet and affectionate. She'd love to meet you!

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX, dental , flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $495.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
