Tesla is believed to be a border collie/blue heeler mix born approximately 11/23/21. Tesla is the sweetest boy that continues to show more personality every day.  He had been a little shy, and still can be depending on the situation. He has started to enjoy playing with our coonhound and gets his voice out there to be heard while playing chase. He plays with our small dog when she allows it, as well, but he can be a little too much sometimes for an older dog. He is very interested in the cat but when boundaries are set, he backs off...for the most part. Tesla is VERY smart and a typical puppy that is exploring the world around him. He will chew on furniture, carpet, and anything else that is nearby, so he needs supervision even with chew toys in the area. 

  The kennel is hit and miss with this guy. He will sleep the whole night through in his kennel, and sometimes will just hangout in there with the door open, but he will also express his extreme disapproval of being in there at other times. It's a work in progress but he'd much rather be with his people than kenneled. He does great at night though! Never had an accident in his kennel either. 

  Tesla does a great job walking on his leash! He shows interest in chasing cars but is diverted easily and understands "No". This guy isn't in a hurry to get anywhere while out walking, he likes to stroll, so with continued training he could be a great walking pal. He does well with treat training in short sessions. He is a quick learner! He is a guy that could easily be taught to do some fun tricks. 

  Tesla is doing a great job of going potty outside. He doesn't show clear signs of needing to go, so he is consistently brought out to avoid accidents. He does very well as long as he's brought out on a schedule and supervised. He's learning quickly! 

  Tesla is a big boy with a big sensitive heart, and He would make a great addition to someone's home that needs some love and laughter.
