Hi my name is Kiss and I am your typical fun loving puppy. They think I’m a border collie/cattle dog mix born October 23rd, 2021. I love playing with my foster fur brother.  I follow him around the yard and we love to chase each other full speed. We also share and steal toys from each other. That’s a fun game. I love balls and toys and will search in the toy bin for my favorite toy. I love chasing the ball but I'm not so good at bringing it back. I mean, who wouldn't want it all to themselves? I’m happy to play with the ball by myself and drop it and then run and pick it up.   When I’m ready to come inside I wait patiently on the back stoop or will use the doggie door if it’s available to me. Sometimes I’ll even knock on the doggy door to tell you I want to come in. Although I am happy to stay out there for hours if there is something to entertain me. I don’t mind the cold and will sit out in the snow and stare off into the distance. If someone walks by the yard, I will let you know. I like to protect my flock and when new dogs approach me I can be cautious/protective at first. After I recognize the dog is not a threat, I’m happy to relax and play or ignore them. My foster mom has taken me to a few breweries and I’m happy to lay under the table and relax on my mat for the most part. I’m still a puppy though and have spurts of energy where I need to play.    I love to go on walks and want to smell all the smells. Sometimes I do bounces when I’m on walks because I’m so excited. After some time I settle in and get in sync with my pack.    I love being anywhere with you and will follow you from room to room. I need to keep tabs on my pack. If you lock me out of a room I will paw at the door to encourage you to let me in. I’m happy to lay at your feet or snuggle up right next to you. If you go outside without me, I will find a window to watch you from.   I’m a pretty low maintenance puppy and am fully potty trained. I don’t chew on table legs/chairs, furniture but I do enjoy chewing on a blanket or a rug that food has fallen on. I like stealing socks and shoes and anything that smells like you. I am not usually destructive of those items and have only destroyed one slipper. My foster mom thinks that’s really good for a puppy my age. When my foster mom catches me chewing on something I shouldn’t, she gives me a toy and I’m happy to redirect my chewing to a toy.    I would love a fur friend to play with all day and an active person who likes the outdoors and exploring. Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, rabies vaccination, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Distemper combo vaccines appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, heartworm and flea/tick preventative while in rescue.
