Princess Patches is a Jack Russell mix.  She is thought to be around 2 years old and weighs 22 pounds.  She had a long car ride from Kentucky but no idea what her back story is.  She is mostly white with one black eye.  Patches is perfect! She is very well behaved and house trained.  She loves to give kisses and plays very well with her two furry foster sisters.  She LOVES to play tug of war.  She walks quite well on a leash and stays with the other dogs while outside.  I will have a hard time giving her up because she is such a sweet little girl.  There have been no signs of aggression toward anything – I can play in her food dish while eating and she doesn’t react.  I can take tennis balls out of her mouth or a bone from her and she doesn’t react either.  She has two human siblings and just loves on them too.  She does go into a crate during the day while we are at work and again, no issues.  Patches has been sleeping in my bed at night and she is a cuddler.  She sleeps all night without having to go outside to potty.  She is a quiet little thing – I’ve only heard her bark a time or two.  The only thing I have found is she doesn’t like the car.  I’m sure it’s the memory of her long car ride from Kentucky – but that too should fade with time.

I think she may do best in a home with another dog as she really enjoys her doggie sisters and may not do so well alone.  Whatever family adopts Miss Patches will be very lucky in my eyes and we will miss her dearly.   

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX , flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $425.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
