Peeta is an adorable doodle born approximately 12/22/21 who loves all people and will be your shadow all day.  He is quickly learning that outside is the best place to go potty, although he doesn’t know how to ask to go out. He’s also learning that a crate isn’t such a bad place for a rest after all once in a while.  Peeta LOVES toys and will shake them around playfully, play tug-a-war, or chew on balls.  He’ll also be happy to chew on boots and shoes if those are around and he’s looking for attention.

Peeta is great with my kids and not nippy.  He’s showing more interest in the cat.  He isn’t that interested in my resident dog and doesn’t seem to understand how to play with her, although he does follow her around when outside.  He would do fine in a home without a dog since he loves people best and gets sad when not near his people. 

As you’d expect, Peeta is like a real life teddy bear and is so soft and cuddly.  He will make a great companion for an active family/person who will keep him busy so he doesn’t get into too much trouble!

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, rabies vaccination if age appropriate, prepaid microchip,

dewormed, Distemper combo vaccines appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, heartworm and flea/tick preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $750.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
