Hello world! I’m Effie!

I was born on approximately 12/31/21.

They say I’m a Sheepadoodle but all I know is I’m cute as a button!

I am a fun-loving girl who likes to get into mischief…chewing things, opening things, and running all over.

 I weigh about 12 pounds so far.

My rescue mama thinks I’m going to be a big girl.

I have very soft black fur with little bits of white on my face and tummy. 

My rescue family says I don’t shed at all, but I will need consistent brushing.

My rescue mama puts me into the kennel on and off during the day. So far it’s ok. It’s not my favorite place to me, but after crying a couple minutes, I calm down.

I also sleep in a kennel at night.

I really like making new dog and people friends. There is a resident dog in the house that I desperately want to play with but she wants nothing to do with me. I have met some neighbor dogs much bigger than me and we had fun playing around.

I’m not familiar with cats.

We are working on potty training and I must say I am getting better but still have some accidents in the house.

I like to explore and see all the things so my rescue mama thinks I’d do best in a fenced in yard.

I whine a bit in car rides and my people have to hold me so I don’t cry.

I am learning to walk on a leash

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, rabies vaccination if age appropriate, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Distemper combo vaccines appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, heartworm and flea/tick preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $750.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
