Dally ,,was born on approximately on 12/28/21. He is a Alaskan Malamute puppy. Dally is a spunky, sweet, cuddly and energetic boy. He is currently in a foster home with his litter-mate/brother, Two-Bit. Dally loves to follow his humans around, loves to plop himself on the couch for a nap, get pets and give kisses. He loves pig ears, bones and chews. He has adjusted so quickly to life with his foster family. He is very curious of cats and the resident dogs, he is submissive with with other dogs, however is the more dominant of the two siblings, always eager to play, wrestle and run. He would do great in a house/ family with a well adjusted, energetic dog. He has been being crated at night, he will sleep between 2-4 hour intervals at night, typically waking up and alerting when he needs to go outside to potty, then back in the crate for another 2-4 hours until time to wake up for the day . He has had no accidents in the crate. At the moment, he and his litter-mate/brother, Two-Bit, sleep in the crate next to their foster moms bed at night as it is not their favorite place to be, about 50% of the time, he is quiet upon going to sleep for the night, occasionally both dogs will whimper for 5-10 mins before falling asleep. He is crated during the workday in 3-4 hour intervals, he is still anxious to be alone without people in sight and both dogs are typically very noisy for the first 15-20 mins upon going in the crate during the day which has been getting better as it becomes more of a routine. He loves having some stuffed animals in his crate to snuggle with or a stuffed kong to chew on. He is doing great with potty training, accidents are very occasional at this point, maybe once every 2-3 days when taken out on a frequent schedule. He would do best with an active family that loves to go on walks/hikes. We think Dally would do best in a home with a fully fenced-in yard . Dally is a loving, goofy, playful and smart boy, he will make such an amazing companion for a very lucky family.
