My name is Naomi (Nomi or Nomes).I am about 1 and a half years old. I am a German Shepherd mix. My foster family says I am the sweetest and best girl ever.  I was so excited to come to a home with other dogs to run  and play with, and a lot of kids to love up on me and play with me too. My foster home also has cats! I was not sure about these things, but they sure peak my interest. I just want to sniff them and look at them with out them hissing at me and running away, but they just are not as curious about me as I am them.

 

I know not to go potty in the house, or in my create. But I am also shy about going potty when I am on a leash. I prefer to be able to go out in the fenced in backyard  and do my business when nobody is watching me. What can I say, I'm  kind of a lady like that. 

 

I go in to an extra large crate when my foster family  leaves the house, and  goes to bed at night. I don't like going in, and some times I whine a little when it is dark, but I go to sleep pretty fast. My foster mom has left me out at night a few times, but I don't  like the sound of fan's  and I don't like being shut in a dark bedroom when everyone  is sleeping. I prefer to be in the living room or in an open bedroom.

 

I like going on walks, but I am so curious about all the noises I stop to listen to everything all the time. My foster mom says I am very attentive, but not a good exercise partner yet. 

 

I would love to go to an active family with a big yard for me to run in. I have A LOT of energy. I would also love another dog friend to play with, or maybe make frequent visits to the dog park. I play hard, and I love to come in and do my best cuddling.  Could I be for you?
