Hi! I'm Kent and my foster mom tells me I'm the most handsome boy. I'm a border collie mix born approx. 2/3/22. I have a small patch of white hair on the back of my neck she calls "my mama's kiss" and I love that. I adjusted very well to my new foster house and their resident dog is helping me learn how to dog. I love to play with him if he's in the mood to play with me, otherwise I just bark at him for a bit. I also have the cutest ah-woo when I'm not getting the attention I want or if I'm in my kennel. I don't really care for the kennel but my foster parents say I have to sleep there. Most nights my foster mom stands outside the room my kennel is in and sings to me until I fall asleep. Then I'm quiet until I hear them come downstairs in the morning. I'm pretty close to being potty trained but I still have some accidents. My foster parents says it's ok because I'm just a baby. I loved the snow when it was here and we've gone for a couple walks on the warmer days. I don't understand yet this is the time I go on the grass to smell out the best potty places. But I walk well close to my human and listen when called. I live with a 6 year old kid too and I try to be gentle with her when I want to play! I do well in the car and enjoy napping on and off all day while my foster mom works in the living room. I nap as close to her feet as I can in case she tries to escape while I sleep! I really don't like being put in the kennel last minute when she has to leave the house for errands. I bark, whine and sometimes scratch at the kennel to get out. I'm getting better, they say I just need more time and training. I'm not sure what breeds I'm made of but my foster mom says I'm a pure bread good boy! I can't wait to find my forever family and love you. Once I'm fully trusted, I think I'll make the best dog to share your bed with!
