Hi! My name is Cadi. I am a 6 year old Golden Retriever that is just learning about how to live the good life! I came from a puppy mill, where I was used for breeding. My foster mom says I'm pretty quiet and timid - I love living in a house but it is quite different from what I was used to.

I am doing well with potty training. I don't know how to tell my foster mom when I need to go out, but I do really well on a schedule! I like to do my thing outside and quickly go back inside, but yesterday I started exploring my yard a bit and enjoyed laying in the sun. It was great!

I'm not quite sure about toys yet - these are new for me. I am getting more comfortable on a leash, but that's a work in progress. My foster mom always tells me how sweet I am. I just like to be by her and get lots of affection. 

I will need a owner who's willing to work with me getting used to being part of a family. I am really smart though, and know I will get the hang of it! I sleep in a room with a dog bed and do well overnight. I don't have any accidents. I would probably do well with another confident resident pup to help show me the way, but I need time to figure out what playing is. I don't live with kids right now, but I am so gentle, I would probably do well with kids who are willing to be patient and gentle with me. Do you think you could be my furever family?

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, dental, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX , flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $625.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
