Witchy is a breeder release around 2-years old and 60 lbs. who likely lived her whole life in a cage until now. She is slowly getting comfortable and learning what living in a house and with humans is like, and I think she is learning to love it! At first, she startled very easily by loud noises and sudden movements, but now has adjusted to what some of those are. She does well on a leash and doesn’t pull much, however, she’s still learning what it’s like to have all of this freedom of space and can walk around in circles sometimes. She’s comfortable in her crate and will go in it to hang out and take naps throughout the day. She does seem to have some separation anxiety and can take some time to settle down if leaving her alone in the crate – we are working on this. She is a very sweet girl and loves to follow me around the house. She hasn’t come around to cuddle or seek attention yet, but always wants to be by me. At night, she either sleeps in her crate or in her bed next to me. She’s house trained for the most part, as long as we stick to a schedule. She seems to do fine with other dogs, and I have not had her around kids or cats yet. She is a pretty mellow girl spending a majority of the day napping, but I think she will come out of her shell more and more with time. She has already made so much progress in the couple weeks I’ve had her.

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX , flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $650.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
