Little One ( I call him Buddy) is such a happy little dude around 8 years old.  He is very friendly and sweet to all people and other dogs.  Buddy loves to play fetch, although he isn’t great at returning the ball yet – he is a work in progress.  Buddy loves toys, tennis balls, bones, and any toy that squeaks.  Buddy has a bit of separation anxiety, so he needs to sleep where he can see his people.  I have him sleeping in a kennel next to my bed and he is mostly quiet overnight, but he will whine if he needs to go out.  Buddy is potty trained, but he will sometimes ‘mark’.  I think this is because all of my dogs are Females, and I am hopeful that this behavior will stop now that he has been fixed.  Buddy just had 10 teeth extracted, so he is currently eating soft food.  Buddy seems unsure about treats, but he is starting to take them from me – slowly.   I don’t believe Buddy had ever walked on a leash before, so he is now learning how to leash-walk.  Buddy is very smart and he is learning quickly.   He can also do stairs like a champ and has no problem jumping up on the couch. 

Buddy stays in a kennel while we are gone during the day ( 7 – 8 hours) but he does whine when I put him in there.  He is not destructive and doesn’t seem to get into things, so if he were to stop marking I believe he could be left out of the kennel during the day. 

Buddy is playful and fun, but he is also a mellow dude.  Buddy would happily lay next to you on the couch all day and just chill. 

Buddy loves car rides and does very well in the car.

Buddy HATES Cats and barks like crazy at them, which is one of the only times I have heard him bark. 

Buddy does not like Fireworks.

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, prepaid microchip, dental, dewormed, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX , flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee:$475.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
