Hi there!! my name is Kelp. I am one of the orphan pups that my mom, Petunia, adopted. I was born approx. 5/7/22. I grew up with bouquet litter. My bio siblings are called the “mermaid bouquet litter” since we were named after aquatic plants. Our whole litter is famous and was featured on the Dodo!  I am the absolute sweetest teeny boy. I love to bounce along and follow you wherever you go! I'm very responsive to my name! I love to be called and your praise is everything. I’m very affectionate and will shower you with kisses! I’m a huge fan of sleeping in your arms, against your leg, in your lap, next to you… honestly I just enjoy snuggling up.  I have quite a survival story and fought to be here! Don’t worry as my struggle as a puppy won’t carry with me to adulthood. I’m just so happy to be here!! I have begun potty training and am doing quite well! I love hearing everyone yell happy things when I do it right! I have begun experiencing being in a kennel for the first time and I’m handling that very well too! I sleep through the night and don’t make lots of noise. I just like to know I’m not completely alone. So having my kennel near other animals or in a bedroom until I am comfortable would be a great plan. I love to follow my foster mommy around everywhere. I am incredibly loyal and devoted. I’ll stick right by your side. I’m super unusual for a puppy and don’t feel the need to wander away. I do love exploring though! Please walk around with me to show me all the things. I am very used to car rides, children, loud sounds, other dogs, cats, and even bunnies! Socialization and experiencing as much as possible has been super important to my foster family (don’t you worry my foster family will tell you all about why they think it’s important once you get to talk to them).

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
