Meet Romeo! He is a small breed pup who was born approx. 3/10/22 and has some of the best, most expressive ears of any pup-ever! Romeo lives up to his name-he is a little lover who will give kisses and snuggles to your heart's content. He is also a playful pup who loves playing with his toys and taking walks. He is smart and walks on leash very well but sometimes gets tired and a little distracted and then loves to be carried for a little while too-he is still a young puppy after all. Romeo is house-trained and communicates that he has to go out by standing at the door or nudging his leash. He sleeps very well through the night in his crate-usually he likes to snuggle at bedtime and when he's good and sleepy he crawls to the back of his crate to curl up for the night. He likes a blanket over his crate to keep him warm and to sleep more soundly. He is still learning to be comfortable in his crate during the day, but as smart as he is, he will master it in no time!
Romeo likes to meet people and other dogs and does best when he chooses the people and dogs. He does well with any size dog, but gravitates to larger dogs. He is a puppy of moderate energy and he gets the zoomies every now and then-running in circles or hopping through the grass (on a leash, of course!). He'd love to have a yard to zoomie in with kids and or another dog. So far, Romeo has proven to be low-shedding with a low maintenance coat. He really enjoys being gently brushed every day but does not require daily brushing.
One thing to note to the adopter is that Romeo has a tooth that looks like it might be growing in sideways and the vet says if that happens it will have to be pulled. Otherwise, Romeo is up to date on all necessary veterinary needs.
Romeo has what it takes to be your best friend, your entertainer, your companion, your once-in-a-lifetime pal. He enjoys going out to a restaurant patio and hanging out with you and friends-just be prepared that everyone who sees him, wants to meet him. He's a special little guy!
