Hello Big World! I am Gizmo the petite and pint-sized 4.8 pound purebred Papillon.
I am still little at 1 year old, and I am very new to this thing they call the good dog life.

I am a little Prince in training. When I say Prince - I’m really particular with a lot of things and my foster mom thinks it is because I was completely mistreated as a baby boy by the icky breeder that used me to make many, many littles like me. I am still getting used to eating from a real dish and at regular and normal times each day . Drinking water normally is unusual so my momma puts tons of water in my Freshpet food twice a day or she gives me little hand sips. The kennel isn’t the worst place - I am very independent, but I far prefer to hang out in a little cubby or under a chair or in a super cozy cuddle bed. I also love hanging with my Foster Momma all day, as she works from home,  and I have never once interrupted her on a call. Humans are very daunting to me, particularly human boys. I am not aggressive or mean, I am just timid and super, super shy, and it takes me a good long while to develop trust.  Despite all of that I show lots of happy moments throughout  the day. I’m beyond adorable, I am super chill, sweet,  and have a ton of spunk and sass that is yet to be uncovered.  I love being held and cuddled. I do not yet come to people and really look to my four-legged foster siblings to show me the way. My mom is certain I will do great as an only doggie or be a great sibling too. The leash is terrifying to me, so I haven’t graduated to using one yet. I am a blank slate with potty training so time and lots of oversight and patience will be needed there, but I am really small and anything I leave behind is small too. With time I know I will develop into the greatest little doggie and best friend.  I am mostly quiet except when a sudden noise happens or my foster siblings come into my cozy space. My foster mom is absolutely in love with me and keeps telling me the only reason I am up on this site is because she has to keep a spot open in her home to rescue and foster more little diamonds in rough like me. So what do you say? Do you have room in your purse, backpack or home for the greatest little work in progress?
