They tell me I’m about a year and a half old and I recently came into rescue with my sister when our pawrent became too ill to continue caring for us. Even though it was hard to see her go to a different home, I’ve adjusted well! In fact, I’m great with kids and other dogs - as long as they are respectful - I may be small, but I’m still a dog with dignity. I’m currently just over 12lbs and not your typical “toy” dog. I’m quite laid back and willing to hang with my people whatever they are doing. I do enjoy an occasional walk, training session, playing with toys, and some zoomies, but I won’t require you to take me in a 6 mile hike each day.

Speaking of hikes, I’m still learning to walk on leash, but I don’t pull, the world is just a really interesting place and I get distracted - I’m a quick study so if you help me it won’t take long until I get the hang of it! 

 

I don’t know how I feel about cats and other small creatures. I’m a herding breed, but I don’t tend to pay much attention to the squirrels and creatures outside so it’s possible I could learn to cohabitate? 

I love to sleep near my people and will cuddle up for the entire night! Want to sleep in? I’ll gladly keep you company! And when it’s time, I give a little scratch at the door when I need to go out.
