Ranger is a labradoodle born approx. 4/18/22 with the most beautiful eyes and soft brown coat. Ranger loves to run and play! Ranger is very loving and responds well to praise and treats. Ranger is a playful puppy but after wearing himself out, will also cuddle right next to you. His favorite puppy nap is next to a big soft blankie and his human. Although Ranger is only a puppy, and brand new to training, he is learning fast about this whole "being-a-dog-thing".  Accidents happen, but that's just a part of being a puppy! Ranger needs to be let outside as soon as he comes out of his kennel, and after eating. Potty training is a work in process, but this is one smart puppy! Ranger is also practicing being kennel trained but would prefer to be with his family. He will bark/whine for about 5-10 minutes after being put in his kennel at night but soon falls asleep cuddling his nice soft teddy bear. He will sleep in his kennel all night long. His foster family works from home but he will happily sleep in his kennel for 1-2 hours, or relax next to us for as long as we are working (4-5 hours). He is such a lover that being separated from his family is hard from him, he spent his entire early life (from birth-to being rescued) trapped in a small, dirty kennel, squished with his brother and sisters, so we understand why he can become nervous about his kennel or being separated. Slowly but surely he is growing confident exploring by himself. This is one hilarious little guy, he loves splashing in our kiddie pool and bouncing around the yard, he makes his foster family burst out laughing daily. He keeps himself occupied with a bone, chew toy or a good old puppy nap. Ranger is very curious about cats and likes to bark at his feline foster sister. He thinks she will play with him any day now and we don't have the heart to tell him that cats aren't huge fans of puppies. Ranger is learning how to walk on a leash and is practicing walking next to his brothers. He needs more practice on how to walk on a leash. We have only gone on short walks since he is so little, but I can only imagine he will be an amazing adventure companion with more training and time. Ranger is good with older kids 9 and up, but needs some more training before being introduced to younger kids because he loves to puppy nibble when he is excited and jump. His foster family is teaching him about chewing on toys instead, and rewarding good behavior with treats. He LOVES treats. He also loves his chew toys and any dog toy he can get his hands on. Ranger is still unsure about the car, he worries he might be left behind, but a few pets and loving words usually cheer him up. Ranger is just a bundle of absolute joy all wrapped into one. With a little of the usual puppy training, Ranger will be the bestest of friends, perfect adventure companion, and the perfect missing piece for your family.
