Rex is a labradoodle puppy born approx. 4/5/22 that will steal your heart, we can't help but nickname him Baby. He has black, curly, fur more like a poodle, making him less prone to shedding and hypoallergenic! He has the most gentle soul, loves to give kisses, and is impossible to say no to when he flashes his big brown eyes and cuddles right up to you. Although Rex is only a puppy, and brand new to training, he is an extremely fast learner and has already started going potty outside. Accidents happen rarely, but that's just a part of being a puppy! Rex is kennel trained and will sleep in his kennel all night long, but he prefers to cuddle up next to his foster family. He spent his entire early life (from birth-to being rescued) trapped in a small, dirty, kennel, squished with his brother and sisters, so we understand why he can become nervous and sad about being in his kennel for too long. Although he is the best boy and will sit quietly in his kennel, we try to give him breaks from his kennel to show him that he is in a safe, loving home now. His foster family works from home but he will happily sleep in his kennel for 2-3 hours, or relax next to us for as long as we are working (4-5 hours). He prefers just laying next to you. He keeps himself occupied with a bone, chew toy or a good old puppy nap. Rex will sit in his kennel quietly and patiently, especially if he is rewarded with a treat for being such a good boy. Rex is amazing with other dogs, he loves playing with his two brothers. Rex is also great with cats! He prefers to just observe and stay away from them. Rex is learning how to walk on a leash and he already walks right next to us and his brothers. We have only gone on short walks since he is so little, but I can only imagine he will be an amazing adventure companion with more training and time. Rex is also great with kids! He is gentle but loves to chase and play in the backyard! His favorite toy in the backyard is a kiddie pool that he jumps and splashes around in. He also loves his chew toys and soft teddy bear stuffed animal. Rex is still unsure about the car, he worries he might be left behind, but a few pets and loving words usually cheer him up. Rex is an absolute gem of a dog, he has a rare personality in that he couldn't be more sweet and well behaved for only being a baby boy. Whoever adopts this sweet baby will have a lifelong companion, best friend, and incredible part of the family.

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, rabies vaccination if age appropriate, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Distemper combo vaccines appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, heartworm and flea/tick preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $650.00
