Emmett is a tri-colored male Shiba Enu. He was born approx. 4/21/22 and is about 10 pounds. His breed should get to be about 20-25 pounds when full grown! Perfect size :) He is very energetic and loves to go on walks and chase leaves! He’s fantastic with people and children. He chases and plays very well with my 4 year old daughter and other dogs of all sizes. He has yet to meet a cat but I’m sure he would be just as gentle and sweet. Although a little shy at first he will warm quickly and wag his curly tail! He really likes having toys to play with and chew on and enjoys chasing a tennis ball. He walks well with a leash and harness but still needs a little work as he is just a pup! At night he sleeps in a kennel with his stuffed animal and does just fine. We don’t hear whining or barking until morning time when it’s time to eat and go potty! We are working on potty training and he does well on puppy pads and is learning a schedule of going outside, he’s very treat motivated and we reward him when he goes outside! We go on walks in the morning and to get all of that puppy energy out and he is usually ready for a snooze after that! When we are away he goes in his kennel with a toy and doesn’t typically have accidents as he is let out every 4-5 hours. Emmett loves a car ride and will fall asleep in the seat on a blanket or rides great in his kennel in the back of the car. He’s an adorable, curious and sweet little pup. He'd love to meet you!

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, rabies vaccination if age appropriate, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Distemper combo vaccines appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, heartworm and flea/tick preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $675.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
