Sanderson is a happy and curious mini Aussie mix born approx. 5/18/22 excited to meet his future family!

This good boy is working on his potty training, and knows basic skills like sit and lay down, and loves to play fetch.  We use his puppy kibble as treats for training.  He loves a good chewing treat for relaxing.  We make sure he gets outside about every hour during the day.  He does a great job sleeping in his kennel in our bedroom at night.  He will typically get up once per night to go outside but goes right back to bed when put back in his kennel. 

He is learning to put up with being in the kennel for short periods during the day, although he lets us know he is not happy about it!  His only goal is to be near his person. He would be a fantastic companion for someone that works at home.  He does great with kids and adults, curious about cats and likes to play with other dogs.   He loves going in the car! We have had him both in his kennel for rides and in the front seat and he loves to either sleep or look out the window.  

Like all Aussies, Sanderson needs plenty of exercise and play time and would do best in an active household that can walk him daily.  We make sure he gets in about a mile a day.

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, rabies vaccination if age appropriate, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Distemper combo vaccines appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, heartworm and flea/tick preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $625.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
