Hi! My name is Banana Split, but my foster family calls me Splits for short. I'm around a year old. I was rescued from right here in Minnesota from a pound euthanasia list due to over crowding. So I went from living in a shelter to living in a home! I'm pretty much house trained as long as you show me where the potty is right when I meet you. I am still a puppy even though I am pretty full grown. So I have lots of energy. Any way to keep me distracted will keep you happy. Toys <-- LOVE THEM, playing <--LOVE, attention <--LOVE! I'm a pretty good pup once I get my zoomies out. I come really well to my name when you tell me to "come" as I want to please you the best I can. I am pretty good in my kennel, but I’d rather not be in it and be with you. In my foster home, there are cats. I am totally fine with cats. I will smell them, but let them be. I love the dogs in my foster home too. The kids in my foster home are all over 9 and with them I am good. I do have quite a bit of energy, so I might knock over smaller non dog savvy kids. I love all my people so much, that I just want to be right with them. I like to sit right by my foster mom like her shadow. I love to play tug, but I can get into play so much that I do growl, but it's all in play. I won't hurt or bite anyone. I do get mouthy while I play, but I'm learning that I am not allowed to do that. That and jumping on people. I'm still learning I can't do that either. I'm a puppy...everything is a learning experience. Did you ask about the car? Oh boy! I love car rides! I will sit in the backseat and look out the window.
