Let me introduce myself.  My name is Robin and I am a 4 year old cocker spaniel that came from a breeder release in Kentucky.  I didn't have much contact with people so I am really scared and shake really bad. Any kind of strange noises or people make me shake also. I am starting to trust my foster Mom but still find myself hiding or spending time away from people by myself.  I will not walk on a leash and I will squat down and not move. I am going to keep on trying so my foster Mom doesn't have to carry me outside to do my business. I can tell you that if I am taken outside on a regular basis,  I am considered potty trained. I can't bark or even howl when a siren goes by but I try and nothing comes out. I hope that I still have my "barker" and with time be able to make some noise to let you know I need to go outside. I love walking around my foster Mom's fenced in backyard.  When it is time to go in, I will squat down so she can pick me up. I did learn how to climb the 3 steps to get in the house. My foster Mom has 2 cats and that's just fine with me. The resident dog wants to play all the time and I am just not ready for that yet. Yes I know how to go in the kennel but much prefer being kennel free. My favorite thing to do is snuggle with my foster Mom on the couch or all night in the bed. I even let that resident dog know that he should go to his spot on the bed and that it is my snuggle time. I have started to play with some toys and wag my stubby tail. I really think there is a nice quite home with a very patient person to love me and give me a "real" dog's life. Are you that person?
