Hi there! I’m Hazel, you can call me Hazy if you want! I’m a beagle puppy born approx. 4/14/22 looking for love in the form of my forever home!

My favorite thing ever is my canine foster sister. I would REALLY love it if you have other dogs already. I came from a puppy mill, so other dogs are helping me learn how to be a good puppy. I have a solid start on potty training thanks to them! I do not potty in my kennel either, so my foster mom says that’ll make a good house training tool for my new family. I sleep all night in my kennel with no accidents! During the day I’m pretty good too, as long as I go out on a schedule and you watch me to make sure I go potty. Sometimes I get so busy sniffing that I forget what I’m meant to be doing!

I’m a social little dog- I don’t like being alone, and I don’t like being separated from my people or dogs. And because I’m a beagle, I bark. I’m trying to be better, because my foster mom says people don’t like the howling. However, if I’m kenneled close to my canine siblings or close to my humans, I’ve learned to sleep quietly. I’m practicing sleeping alone, and I still whine some, but I don’t feel scared enough to bark very often anymore.

Anyways, back to the things I like- racing around outside and smelling everything! I have a beagles nose, but I do not chase cats or rabbits or other small animals. I’m very curious when I’m taken on outside adventures and to public places! I ride well in the car and look forward to exploring. I LOVE chewing, and even though I pretend to behave while you’re watching, the second your back is turned I’ll be into something I’m not supposed to be! What can I say, I’m just a pup!

What I’m looking for in a family is pretty simple- someone to run around with me during the day, and somewhere warm and close to you to sleep at night. Does that sound like something you can do? If it does, I’d love to meet you!
