Meet wonderful Emmy! Emmy is 20 pounds of pure love and playfulness, born approximately 1/23/22. She has a charming and delightful personality and is a champion snuggler and companion - she loves to be on a lap or next to someone on the couch. She is always happy to meet any humans or dogs and does wonderfully with the kids and small dog in her current foster home. She also does well with bigger dogs and loves to play!  Emmy is SUPER smart and easily learns new commands and skills - she is very food-motivated. So much so that you'll definitely want to make sure that any food is far out of reach because she is skillful and clever! She is fully potty trained and will scratch or whine at the door when she needs to go out. She loves toys, chewing on bones, and playing fetch with a tennis ball - she'll happily bring it back to you over and over again! She will do best on a leash or with a fully fenced yard since she loooooves to sniff and sniff and isn't too interested in listening or anything else when she's smelling something really interesting! She does great in her kennel overnight as long as it's in the same room as a human being. She would also love to snuggle in bed with someone!  She's really good in her kennel when left alone during the day, but will definitely make it known that she'd rather not be alone in her kennel for the first couple minutes. She is a small dog with a big dog's bark! Any family that adopts Emmy will be so lucky to get this sweet, loving, loyal, clever, adorable dog. She’s a real gem.

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX , flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $550.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
