Hello, my name is Brownie and I am a one year old Boston Terrier. I haven’t had very much human contact for my first year, but people like you are really starting to grow on me. My kennel is my safe space, but I’m going to come out and see what you are doing. I’ll follow you around to verify if you are up to something fun. I might join you, you never know with me. Sit on the couch or floor and I will even come up and sniff you. I may run back to my kennel, but I’ll be back. I see everything. Reminder- if you leave something out, I’ll put it away for you- in my kennel. I really love socks, toys and shoes. I will keep them safe and warm for you, but you better watch me so I do not get too excited and tear them up. I promise, I will work on that. I’m still learning what I should do. Guess what- pick me up and I will cuddle for a bit. It’s not so bad. I think I might really like this cuddling thing. It’s growing on me a lot.   

Kids- ya they are pretty good. They are shorter than bigs and sit on the ground to pet me. I’ll give them kisses on their hand. Do you have other dogs? Any size at all? I love to play and will run around with them and have a blast. I like big dogs, little dogs, really all of them. I have been around cats, but they hiss at me and I really don’t like to get close to them. I’ll just ignore them. 

I am working on potty training. It’s pretty cold out there so I like to wear a coat. I’ll keep on trying to make it outside, especially once it warms up. I never go potty in my kennel though. I am also very quiet and sleep in there all night long. I do hang out in there if no one can watch me. No issues, I go right in. It got pretty cold so I haven’t gotten to go on too many walks, but you can teach me how they work when it warms up.  

So, in closing, just give me a little more time and I am sure I will really like snuggles and going on walks. I’ll be your little shadow and cuddle right in with you and your family. Will you be my forever home?  

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX , flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $825.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
