Hey y'all! Are you in the market for a sweet and loving pup? Well, I happen to be in the market for a forever family! My name is Candy Cane (see, the sweet part is right in my name!),  I a  Boxer mix born 10/24/22. My momma came to rescue from Red Lake, and me and my 12 brothers and sisters were born in rescue. Yep, 13 puppies! It might have been a little crowded in momma, cuz my tail is bent like maybe some fatty was lying on it for a few weeks! Momma says it just makes me all the cuter  though My momma Sugar is a Boxer mix around 70 pounds, but my foster momma doesn't think I'll get that big as I'm just not growing as fast as big breed puppies tend to do.  I've been living in my current foster home  with  three big resident dogs  since my former roommate (sister Ginger) found her forever home.  I'm curious about the resident dogs, and will follow them in the yard, but don't instigate play.  I am reserved with the big dogs, but not frightened unless they are running like wild coyotes. Hey, maybe you have an older dog and thought you couldn't get a puppy because of that - well, I'm your gal! The 15 year old Grampy dog is my FAV, and I am very gentle and respectful with him. Have kids? Grandkids? I love them too!  My favorite hobbies a re  playing with toys, eating, and running through the snowy yard! I LOVE being outside! I may be small, but I am  brave ! I love to go exploring - with or without  the other dogs ! When I'm done exploring the big beautiful world, I love cuddling up in Mom or Dad's lap and watching TV in front of the Christmas tree.  Momma says I have the soul of a little lap dog, because I'm just so content sitting on your lap, or next to you in your favorite chair.  I'm good at going potty outside when you take me out there, but if you can't take me out in time I'll use the puppy pads.  Since my sister left, I sleep all night in a kennel next to the bed (and yes, I mean a full 8 hours without a peep!), and spend some time in the gated kitchen during the day.  I love my foster family, but Mom and Dad say I need to find a forever home so they can make room to help more puppies like me! So what do you say?  Just hit next, and apply!

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, rabies vaccination if age appropriate, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Distemper combo vaccines appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, heartworm and flea/tick preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $595.00
