Tango is a 2 year old 9# of sweetness dog from Tijuana.  His foster mom thinks he’s a mix of rat terrier and chihuahua and he has the feisty temperament to support that.  He’s playing with toys, chasing in the yard, and doing lots of snuggling, and holds his own with pups twice his size. He’s very sociable with visiting humans and is learning not to cover our faces with kisses.  He responds to uh uh and no, and stay or wait.  He is fascinated with our cat and tries to play, but isn’t mean with him.  Tango is mild mannered, not food aggressive but will give off a small warning growl when a dog approaches when he’s munching on a rawhide.   He goes outside with the resident dogs to go potty and mostly potty trained to go outside. HE doesn’t seem to mind the cold and snow.  He is learning to not raise his leg in the house, and tolerates a belly band to help him remember that rule and doing that less and less every day.  His favorite place to sleep is tucked up next to his human.  Overall he's a fantastic dog and would make a great addition to a lucky family.
