Kisha is a whippet mix around 1 year old and 35 lbs. Her behavior, Intelligence, socialization skills, and house training are perfect. A++. She is very sweet. She gives lots of hugs and kisses, is playful with people and other dogs and loves toys.   She hasn't met a cat yet but she doesn't have an aggresive bone in her body so I'm sure she'd be fine.   The first day I picked her up she was extremely submissive and acted like she had been previously abused. After a week in the home she is making good progress. Her favorite activity is to pick on me, she thinks it hilarious:) If you have a fence it must be 100% secure or she will get out. Your vocal tone and words with her must be very nice and gentle. I'm nice and I even needed to make adjustments. She hasn't done a single naughty thing but is still sub-conscious and sensitive about her behavior. She absolutely will not listen if she senses a hint of anger. If you don't have complete control of your temper/emotions it's not going to be a good fit. She does great in a kennel, is completely house trained and potty trained. She's good on a leash and rarely barks. She is so kind, gentle and loving. She is the perfect family dog and deserves a loving and warm family environment.

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX , flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $425.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
