Hi, I am Sahara / Maeby (my foster mom calls me Mae) ! I am a 2 year old Aussiepoo with the cutest face. I am not super energetic, I like to run around for a bit, but I also really like to snuggle up on the couch with my foster mom and watch a movie.I am house trained, and very quiet. I have had 0 accidents in my foster home! I let my foster-mom know I have to go out(the only time I have barked was because I had to go bad) and, when I do I go out, I do my business and come right back in. I do really well on a leash, I love sniffing nature and my foster mom thinks after some training I would be an amazing off-leash walker. I like car rides, I sit well and just hang out when we go out. I love new dog friends, I like playing ball and running around with them. I have only met a few cats, and I really want to be friends with them too. I will chase them if they run, but I back off quickly when told. I do get anxious in crowds, I get antsy and want to meet everyone when she takes me to a brewery. I do have containment anxiety - which makes kenneling me, or even containing me in a room a bit of a challenge. I will go into a kennel with my bed and the door open, but I do not like being trapped inside. I have done my best sleeping in my bed, close to my foster parents. I am not destructive so my foster mom has been trusting me to be free, and I am doing a fantastic job. Speaking of anxieties - my former family mentioned that I am very anxious around kids, my foster mom has not yet experienced this, but I want to make sure to tell my future family. I am also a counter surfer, but my foster mom is working with me on this. I do not get left alone long since my foster mom WFH, but I do well when she leaves the house and does not lock me up. I have a heart of gold and just want to be loved up. Are you the right family for me?
