Hello, my name from the rescue was Ira, but my foster mom renamed me after she realized I would be spending a longer time with them. My foster family calls me Rosie. When I went in with my siblings to be spayed, it was determined that I had a heart murmur and would need further vetting. They were so busy that it took months between visits, but after my procedure and follow up EKG I am cleared for adoption! I have been with my fosters since January, and it has been a blast! I was able to welcome in another litter of puppies that I made my best friends. I love all dogs even if they give me attitude. I believe it is because my heart is so strong ;) Because my mom was busy potty training the little pups, I would have an accident every once in a while, but after they were adopted, I have only had two in the middle of the night. I haven't been crate trained as I love to sleep on all the dog beds and ottomans in the house. My fur is the softest dog fur my mom has ever felt, it is like silk! I know how to sit and come. I live in a house with four resident dogs that are older and have seen many fosters come and go. I also have a permanent foster that I live with and I love her. My cousin comes over to play and is my age and we play for hours and tire each other out! I am medium energy but can match an energetic dog. I do counter surf (yes, I know I shouldn't) and am motivated by food so I am very easy to train. Since my fosters have been so busy, I do need to learn just some basic manners a little better, but to be honest, I am already a really good girl! I am so ready for my forever home as I hear my foster mom say I am so good she doesn't want me to leave, but I know she needs to spend time with her senior dogs in their twilight years and give them all the love I want her to give me. So, who will be the one to give me a lifetime of love? I promise, I will love you back! Just look into my eyes :) Oh, one other thing. I really don't like car rides. Maybe because every time I have gone in a car, it was to the Doctor, but maybe not. So if you are a traveler and want to bring me with, you will have to figure out what works so I don't get sick. That being said, I believe I am still an amazing dog!

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, rabies vaccination if age appropriate, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Distemper combo vaccines appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, heartworm and flea/tick preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee:  $595.00
