Lexi is an absolutely beautiful and sweet dog from Kentucky. She is approx. 1.5 years old and 50 lbs. She really loves people and wants to be by them every second possible! She is very smart and is learning sit and down. Lexi is food motivated and intelligent so she will be a great dog to train! She goes potty outside and is quiet in her kennel at night! She barks at first when she goes in the kennel during the day but settles down. 

Lexi seems to have some puppy tendencies (likes to chew, still learning not to jump up on people), so chew toys and consistent training will be needed.  She loves other dogs and takes cues well, backing off if they aren't as fond of her.  She does like cats, but her puppy play tendencies might be too much for some cats.  
She has met younger children at public events and really "tones it down" around them.  
She is housetrained, knows a couple commands (sit, shake), and learns quickly.  She is a very loving girl who just needs a little patience and some training. 
 
She LOVES to play outside and has a lot of energy so would do best with an active family that will take her on plenty of walks/runs and adventures. A fenced in yard would be nice too! She may be from Kentucky but she’s a Minnesota girl at heart. Lexi loves, loves, loves the snow. 
She is a terrier mix or doodle mix but does shed a bit and is not hypoallergenic.

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX , flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $525.00
