Meet Tot! They don’t come much better than this bite-sized boi! Tot is a happy-go-lucky guy with wags and wiggles galore. He’s down with adults, kids, canines and even cats. (Though a bit hesitant toward new men at first.) At about a year old, and around 13 lbs, he's still an energetic, roly-poly, playful pup who manages to be quite entertaining. ("Oh, why thank you, kind sir, for dragging that giant boot from the other end of the house to present it here at my feet with such pride and accomplishment!”) Tot is confident, curious, and eager to learn. He’s already knows “sit," “come,” “potty,” “snack,” and answers to his nickname, “Tater.” He’s also good at entertaining himself with toys while you take that Zoom call. Tot is dying for another puppy friend to play with!! If you have or can provide that for him for his next few years, he would be ever so grateful!

Let's see, what else...
Belly rubs and kisses? Yes, please.
Chasing & chomping on all the toys and things that might be toys? Yup.
Attempting to chew on your hand/pants leg/slippers? Indeed. But is easily re-directed & knows to be gentle with his mouthiness.
Swatting at you playfully for attention with his stubby arms and his chubby baby-bear paws? His adorably effective signature M.O.
Potty trained? Mostly. Just needs a regular schedule.
Good in his crate? You betcha! Has so far spent up to 3 hours alone in the crate without issue or noise. Quietly sleeps through the night without a peep, but has graduated to sleeping on the bed with us.
Leash walking? Great so far, just acclimating to louder traffic noises.
Chilling and cuddling? A total champ. (And his snuffly snoring is the cutest!)

This little low-rider is def rollin' with some daschund DNA. While the rest is mystery mutt, it definitely leans more terrier than chihuahua, since he's so sturdy, stocky and prey-focused (OMG SQUIRREL!) With the right forever home and positive reinforcement training, the sky is the limit for this sweet and silly kiddo.

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX , flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $475.00
