Oh Bear-  he’s so comical, he’s keeping his 5 year old foster sister who’s a shepherd feeling young again. He's approx. 1.5 years old and cracks us up how he throws ANY toy in the air to chase and play with it by himself, including HARD BONES  . T hankfully no one’s has been hit by one yet. We found out he’s a fence jumper.  L uckily he didn’t go far and came when called. He gave his foster mom had a heart attack though. He’s also realized that one particular cat in our home, who was raised by dogs, has no fear and will chase him down to tell him who’s boss. He will chase cats but is learning “leave it” when cats are walking around - self control is hard for him still. LOVE DOGS - does play by himself also with toys. For the most part, he’s house trained, had a few accidents in first few days with fosters but that's to be expected. He sleeps through the night in his kennel but won’t go into kennel on his own unless it’s on his terms He will go willingly into his kennel when prompted with treat. His foster home is a busy home, with 3 boys ages 9, 6 and 2 1/2 years. Along with 2 shepherds, 3 cats and foster mom and dad Bear gets a lot of activity. He’s so gentle with all 3 boys but does like to jump on you when you first come home to say hi - it’s not a hard jump - just feet on your chest and a BIG STRETCH with kisses. He's so much fun to be around and looking for a family of his own. Is that you?

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX , flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee:$525.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
