Lenard (or Leo at our home) was born approx. 12/25/22 and came from Red Lake, MN.  Mom appears to be part yellow lab and dad might be german shepherd mix.  His fur is longer like a shepherd.  His ears also have more of the german shepherd look to it.  He is a CUDDLER.   He loves to be in the lap of one of his humans or cuddle up to his sister or a resident dog.   A typical day, he goes outside with the resident dogs to do his business.  Every time he is taken out he will be successful, but is so young and doesn’t know to ask to go out yet.  He will use a puppy pad occasionally inside.  He has no food protection issues, and is very food motivated.  He is starting to understand “kennel up” and will go in willingly for his nap when the humans are at work.   After kennel time he plays hard with all dogs and humans in the house.  He loves wrestling with his sister and chase the kids in the house.  He is trying to learn what to chew on and what not to chew on.  He is starting to play with stuffies and hasn’t destroyed any yet.  He plays hard and naps hard, frequently going into the open kennel by himself to have quiet nap time.  He will be a terrific addition to any family looking for a puppy !!

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, rabies vaccination if age appropriate, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Distemper combo vaccines appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, heartworm and flea/tick preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $595.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
