Hello! My Name is Westin! I have overcome so much in life and now I am ready to live my best life. My mom says I am a dog's dog. She means that I like dogs more than I like people. Don't get me wrong, I love people, I will come and ask for pets and cuddles.... but I'd rather be playing with other dogs. With that being said, I should probably go home with another dog(s). I am submissive and can be shy but I am packed full of love and spunk. 

I am almost full potty trained, but I am leash trained and crate trained. I may protest a little at first in my kennel but will settle right down. Kongs or bones will do the trick. I have a foster sister here too, she's a cat. I love her and want to play with her so badly! She doesn't care for dogs so she avoids me. I will win her over one day, I'm sure of it! 

My story: I was dumped at a high kill shelter when I was really young, but this awesome rescue came and got me. When I went to the vet, they discovered I had a heart murmur. My momma took me to the U of M to get checked out and prepared herself for me to have surgery, but they only found that my murmur was grade one! That means it will not affect me! My mom may have cried happy tears, I just licked her face clean. 

I'm ready to find my own family, and make them laugh and my antics. Would you wanna laugh with me for the rest of my life? I promise I'll love you forever...

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, rabies vaccination if age appropriate, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Distemper combo vaccines appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, heartworm and flea/tick preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $595.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
