Saltine is a Cocker Spaniel and Poodle mix born approx. 11/27/22. Saltine is currently about 8 lbs and has a beautiful tan coat that mostly resembles her cocker spaniel side, she definitely does shed. Saltine is a confident girl who has lots of puppy energy but she also loves to cuddle. She will rest her chin on your shoulder if you pick her up for a hug. One of her favorite things is exploring the outdoors and wrestling with her brother so I think she would do great in a home with a similar sized dog. Saltine is teething and needs some reminding of what is a chew toy and what is not but she is learning quickly. She is trying her best to accommodate our requests to potty outside but still has accidents but she will reliably use a training tray for poops while in her puppy play pen. Saltine is happy to go to bed and sleep quietly in her playpen once the lights are out and the house is quiet. One thing Saltine doesn't understand yet is leashes and walks, she's working on it but will need some more training. Saltine loves kids so much that she sometimes needs reminding not to jump up and lick their faces when they want to pet her. After she gets her wiggles out she will settle down and lay in our kids laps for some cuddles. We don't know how Saltine does with cats. Most of all Saltine is looking for a family who has energy to play, time to help her learn as she grows up and lots of love to share.

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, rabies vaccination if age appropriate, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Distemper combo vaccines appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, heartworm and flea/tick preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $750.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
