My name may be Chedder but I'm definitely not a cheesehead!  I was born approx. 11/6/22 and am a schnauzer/aussie mix. I'm a happy little puppy that is living with 2 humans, 2 cats, and another foster dog.  I love all of them but sometimes I get a little too rough with the cats and they don't like it and they let me know.  My foster mom is working with me to be patient come feeding time - I can get kind of vocal!  She is also trying to teach me to not be so protective of my food but I just don't want to share, especially with the cats!  I'm also working on potty training.  It is going pretty good but sometimes I just can't hold it long enough for my foster mom to get her boots and jacket on.  There are bells on the door, which I am learning to ring when i need to go out.  I sleep in my kennel and usually make it all night but sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night still needing to go - but no accidents at all in my kennel!  I like being outside and I like the snow!  I like toys and bones to chew on and I like to play tug of war with the other dog in the house, though he is much bigger than me but I don't back down from a good challenge.  I'm pretty treat motivated and I have already learned how to sit.  I also know come but sometimes I have selective hearing but if I know my person has a treat in her pocket i definitely will listen.  One more important thing that you should know is I like lots of pets and cuddles.. 

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, rabies vaccination if age appropriate, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Distemper combo vaccines appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, heartworm and flea/tick preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $595.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
