Meet Valkyrie (Val) she is a 30lb, 2 year old Feist mix. Sweet Val has had a rough start to life,
but if you met her you would never know it. She is incredibly generous with love, kisses and
cuddles. Val was neglected & emaciated when her owners just decided to leave her at the
veterinarian clinic in Kentucky. Thankfully a caring and compassionate employee of that clinic
took her in and nursed her back to health. Val can be a bit shy to start, but she comes out of her
shell rather quickly. It has been such a joy to witness sweet Val come into her own and show
her spunky loving personality……all in less than one week. Val is such a good girl, she’s potty
trained and does great in her crate. In fact, on occasion, she will put herself in her crate when
she’s craving some good old me time (or maybe she’s just getting away from the crazy resident
dogs). Val has shown interest in some hobbies, she loves long naps with snuggles, she loves
being wrapped up in a blanket while lying next to you, AND she just discovering how to play
with toys. Let the games begin! BUT, her all-time favorite hobby is bone collecting. She has a
very impressive collection. She displays them in her crate, on the couch and on her dog bed.
She has shown interest in all shapes and sizes, she just really loves them all. One of my favorite
traits of sweet Val is this almost cat like purr / giggle thing she does when she expresses her
love. Trust me when I say Val is a very special girl who is just waiting to have a family to call her own. She is ready to let loose with all the love she stored up while waiting for the right
person/family to find her.

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX , flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $425.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
