Hola, my name is Feliciano and I arrived from Tijuana, Mexico at the end of February . In Spanish, Feliciano means happy or fortunate, both of which describe me very well! When I was rescued in Mexico, I had been living in a hoarding house and was significantly malnourished and underweight in addition to having a tick borne disease and mange. My foster family has been working hard to get me healthy and teach me about living in a loving home. I am the perfection combination of sweet and silly. I love people and am always wagging my tail or carrying around my favorite toys. I like to take my favorite toy who has been named chicken everywhere with me, even outside. Sometimes, I get so excited playing outside, that I forget chicken outside, and then go get him on command! I've made great progress and I'm really coming out of my shell in the last few weeks in my foster home. I am living with 3 other small dogs and I do well with them and love to play with them. I usually start running zoomies around the house and they all start chasing me, which I really like! I do a good job of entertaining myself, and really enjoying carrying and throwing around my stuffed toys and chewing on bones. I like to sit on the couch and look out the window or snuggle up on the blankets and pillow and sometimes I throw them around. I'm really food motivated, so I've been picking up quickly on some obedience training such as my name, sit, stay, come, kennel up and off. I do well in my kennel when my foster family is away or at night or in the car. I walk well on leash, but prefer to run around in the fenced yard with my foster siblings. Keep a close eye on me in the yard with a short fence though, I can jump quite high. I am doing awesome with my house training on a schedule and haven't had any accidents in weeks! I wear a belly band in new situations, as I like to mark my territory when no one is watching. My foster home doesn't have any kids, but I did meet lots of them at the events I've been to and I really liked them! My foster mom isn't sure if I've met cats, but I do try to chase bunnies and squirrels in the yard. Are you willing to give me a loving home and laugh at my silly antics forever?
