Hello! My name is Ficus, but I go by Pluto. I am about 2 years old and a beagle mix. Before you ask, no I do not have the beagle bark, but I do like to use my voice when I’m in my kennel, so apartment living or townhomes are not for me. I have been very good in my kennel and have not had any accidents in my kennel. I came to rescue when I was found abandoned with a human child in the house for 2 weeks. I, unfortunately, was stuck in a kennel the whole time, so my kennel isn’t my favorite place to be, but my foster family is showing me that it’s not too bad since I know I can leave it. I eat in my kennel and go in willingly. When the family leaves the house or for bedtime, I go in my kennel, and all they have to say is “kennel” or “bed” and I go straight in. I have a good amount of energy since I’m still young. I try to get the other dogs in my house to play with me, but they are all old and don’t want to play, so I usually just grab my favorite rope toy and play by myself. I drag the rope, shake my head and make my foster family laugh at me. I can also sit next to you on the couch or chair and take a nap. I suck on my back foot like a pacifier and put myself to sleep. I love to be loved and be around people. I haven’t had many accidents in my foster home, which I’m pretty proud of. I have a lot of love to give and a lot of life to live. Are you willing to live it with me?
