Hi I am Homer! I am about 2 1/2 years old! My humans think I am a Basset Hound / Lab mix, but they aren't sure. What they do know is I am 100% a good boy. I weight about 60 pounds and LOVE to act like I am a small lap dog. I live with 2 other dogs right now and love to play with them, clean them, and cuddle them. Sometimes I get told off by the grumpy one, but I learned that means enough and I stop playing with him. I know Sit, Heel, and Kennel right now. I am working on Down, Stay and Leave it!  At night I sleep in my kennel and go to sleep pretty quickly. I would love to sleep in your bed with you or on the floor if you let me, but I'm happy in the crate too. Right now my foster parents work from home so I get to have company throughout a lot of the day. If they have to leave they can put me in my crate. Sometimes I whine a little right away, but eventually I calm down and take a nap.  I don't live with any kids right now, but I have seen a few and it has gone well. I would want to meet some kids before I can say for certain. I do pretty good with potty, but I like to mark some spots in my house sometimes. These are high smelly spots that my foster siblings have peed on before, and I like to let them know that's mine. Because of this, my foster parents have me wearing this silly diaper called a belly band as they are training me not to. I LOVE walks and come back happy as can be. I am not super interested in toys or bones yet, but I do like chasing the ball sometimes. I'd say I am a relatively low-medium energy dog, but I do well with 2 walks a day, or a nice backyard to run and play in. Did I mention I LOVE THE SNOW! I love to roll around and cool down in it. I would love to meet you and find my perfect Furever Home!

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX , flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $495.00
