Ottie is a total love bug. He is a Shih Tzu born approximately 12/5/2019. He loves to cuddle with this human(s) morning, noon, and night.   He’s an incredibly adorable and very loving dog.   It took some time for him to get used to the other dogs and cats, and he still has some territorial issues with regard to food and love/attention from his human.  He likes to bite, but not too hard, and chew on things so be sure to have lots of toys for him to play with.  Ottie is not crate trained, but we are working on it.  He does not like to be in a crate, but he does seem to settle as long as he can see or hear his human nearby.   He is coming along with his potty training.  I think when he’s in a new place, he gets a little stressed and confused, but he did manage to do his business on potty pads.  Ottie has been to the vet, and they found a cataract in one of his eyes, so potential adopters should know he will need to have annual eye exams.  He does bark, but it’s only to tell you that he’s hungry or wants your attention.   He likes clothing and will drag it out of any place he can find them and bring them out to play.  He is an incredibly sweet and happy dog.  He likes to play and chase anything or anyone willing to play or be chased.  Any household would be lucky to have him in it.  He will make someone a very wonderful companion.

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, dental, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX , flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $650.00
