Hello my name is Cale! I am a male cocker spaniel born approximately 2/2023. I am such a happy bouncy boy with the best personality!  I came into rescue as a breeder release at just 6 weeks old and weighed only 4.8 pounds. I love to be busy with bones and toys and playing with the resident dog. I love toys so much that sometimes I just crawl into the toy bin so that I can find just the right one and other times I can't seem to find the one I am looking for and take them all out one by one!  I could keep myself entertained for hours. I do also like my cuddles. My favorite is to be held upside down like a baby and get my belly petted. Sometimes you might even find me sleeping on my back, it is so comfy!   When I get tired playing, I love to snuggle up next to you on the couch for a nap.  I am learning what things are actually considered toys, so when I take the laundry or shoes and my foster Mom tells me no, I stop because I certainly don't want her to be upset with me. My tail is always going crazy and I will give you all the kisses you want, I am such a happy boy.  I pay close attention to what is going on around me and like to stick close to my people. I love my food and treats and am doing a good job growing and learning about the world. Because I am so young, potty training is and will be a work in progress for a little while, however, I have been able to go all night without any accidents now. I am a smart boy, so I know I will get it in no time with consistent training. I settle down quickly and will sleep through the night in my play pen or kennel and I am just fine in there during the day when my foster family is not home. I do love a good soft blanket or doggie bed to lay on. I came into rescue with my sister and she recently got adopted, so it has been a little sad for me, especially at night and I have been crying, but each night it is getting better and I am learning that I am safe and can be brave. I have gone on a couple car rides and done just fine.  I have been going for lots of walks and doing great!  I don't even pull, I just want to be by you and with you and it is so fun to check out all the new things that are outside. I bring smiles to my foster family everyday with my happy go lucky adorable self. I can't wait to meet my forever family, could that be you?

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, rabies vaccination if age appropriate, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Distemper combo vaccines appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, heartworm and flea/tick preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $850.00
