Jeanie is the perfect little lady. She was born approximately 4/23/2021. Are you looking for the best snuggle bug, the best walking buddy, or the best friend for any other dog?  Jeanie is your girl! She is from Kentucky, and made the long journey to MN, only to find she loves the people here just as much!  Jeanie wants to be with her people as much as possible, including in the car, so we clip her in the backseat so she can’t crawl onto laps while driving.  She loves dinner time, chew bones & will play with a toy here & there. Jeanie is crate trained, although if in a home without dogs, she tends to cry or bark in her crate.  She would be most happy to sleep in bed with her owners. Jeanie has not been around kids in her foster home, but doesn’t react to neighbor kids through the fence & in fact shows sweet kissy interest. She doesn’t bark in the yard or when looking out the window, but is curious about birds, squirrels & such. She is fully potty trained. She would do fine if left out, as long as there are no delicious treats for her to find on counters or tables.  She is VERY obedient & listens well when called.  She is a lovely medium size & her coat doesn’t seem to shed much. Jeanie is really coming out of her shell!  She is always smiling.  She doesn’t love it when new dogs approach foster mom, as she is a bit protective & expects all the attention but s he is the best girl ever!

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX , flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $525.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
