Lucy Lane (Weezy) is a loving Great Dane puppy born 6/30/22 with all the energy of a puppy and the cuddly nature of a Great Dane!

She is doing really well on walking on a leash, though she does try to chase the occasional

squirrel.  She loves everyone and every dog! She will get shy with some men, especially those that wear hats. Maybe a Great Dane trait?

She plays a lot and sometimes rough with my two dogs but they don’t seem to mind! She will have spurts of energy for thirty minutes and run and play and then sleep! Then an hour later she is up and wants to play! She is not crate trained.

She loves to snuggle on the bed or couch and enjoys chews toys. We are working with her on a slight resource guarding habit but we simply take away the object and redirect! She is super sweet and loving and loves to play chase the water with the hose! 

She is looking for a home with someone who will cuddle with her on the couch and has a house dog she can play with already! Preferably no small children as she can knock into you with her long legs! If you love Great Danes and want a buddy for your resident dog, she is the perfect fit!

-- Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age , Bordetella vaccine, 4DX , flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $650.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
